Northeast Creek Tech Campus: Construction & Community Update

Project Progress & Upcoming Milestones

  • Overall Completion: Campus construction is currently 18% complete, with sitework, utility infrastructure, and building structures progressing on schedule.

  • Completed Infrastructure Upgrades: During the recent Route 33 road closure, crews completed three major infrastructure projects:

    • Domestic Water Line Replacement: Upgraded and connected the local water main to the new Louisa County Water Authority pump station off Route 33 to improve long-term utility reliability.

    • Stormwater Infrastructure: Installed an upgraded culvert near the Louisa County Water Authority to improve water flow from the Northeast Creek Reservoir to Northeast Creek and mitigate historical flooding.

    • Highway Safety Enhancements: Installed modern guardrail safety systems alongside the highway to increase motorist protection.

Community & Traffic Impact

  • Route 33 Reopened: Route 33 is fully reopened to traffic in both directions. Periodic single-lane closures may occur later this year as sitework continues; VDOT or Louisa County will communicate schedules in advance.

Workforce & Community Initiatives

Career Opportunities: More than 1300 workers are on our sites daily, many of whom are local to the region. Clark Technologies is actively hiring through Clark Construction for both campus locations. Interested applicants can browse open Louisa-area positions here.

Meet us in the Community: Thank you for visiting us at the Louisa County Fair where we hosted our annual Construction Sand Pit for Kids!

Local Business Support: We are proud to support local Louisa businesses and thank the multiple restaurants and vendors keeping our site teams fed, including Taqueria El Chapparal, Sandtopia, Big Daddy Eats, Farm to Table, Beaver Dam Grill and Taqueria los Hermanos. We currently host a rotational program for local food trucks; interested vendors are encouraged to contact us.

Interested vendors must possess all relevant licensing and permitting required by local and state governing bodies. Selected vendors will be screened and vetted based on availability, food options and affordability.

Please submit your company name, a description of your services (indicating if you are a food truck or other mobile business), your Employer Identification Number (EIN), and your availability preferences throughout the work week (days and times) to the email of the campus you’d like to work with:

Lake Anna Tech Campus on Kentucky Springs Road: LATC@clarkconstruction.com

Northeast Creek Tech Campus on Route 33: NCTC@clarckconstruction.com

We look forward to hearing from you!

*Valid EIN and licensing do not guarantee selection to do business on campus. Should a vendor wish to work at both campuses, there is a separate approval and documentation process.
